Traveling from the North Houston, Intercontinental Airport area:

Take I-45, or 59 heading South
Exit I-10, heading West
Exit #764 Washington/Westcott
Right on Washington
Road forks – take left fork – Katy Road
Katy Road dips sharply to go under railroad and immediately rises again
WR&E Wildlife Center is on the left – just before Portway – a Houston SPCA billboard is on the corner of Katy Road and Portway
U – turn at Portway, the driveway for WR&E Wildlife Center is immediately on the right.

Traveling from the Downtown Houston area:

Take I-10 heading West
Exit #764 Washington/Westcott
Right on Washington
Road forks – take left fork – Katy Road
Katy Road dips sharply to go under railroad and immediately rises again
WR&E Wildlife Center is on the left – just before Portway – a Houston SPCA billboard is on the corner of Katy Road and Portway
U – turn at Portway, the driveway for WR&E Wildlife Center is immediately on the right.

Take I-10 West

Exit Woodway / Memorial Drive
Stay on feeder and pass Woodway
The feeder ends just past Memorial Drive, so turn left at Memorial Drive and go under 610 Loop
Immediately turn right on N. Post Oak
Turn right onto Old Katy Road and go past Portwest (on the right) the road is now called Katy Road
WR&E Wildlife Center is on the right – just after the next road, Portway – a Houston SPCA billboard is on the corner of Katy Road and Portway

Traveling from the Northwest Houston, 249/1960 area:

Take 290, heading East
Take 610, heading South
Take the first exit (Old Katy Road) it is before the I-10 exit
Left on Katy Road
Pass Portwest Drive on the right
