Presentations
WR&E offers a wide variety of experiences and presentations to enhance and promote community awareness of and respect for our wild heritage.
On-site – Presentations at the WR&E Wildlife Center are encouraged. Our trained speakers and Education Ambassadors are available at the Wildlife Center to provide educational programs.
To meet our Education Ambassadors click here.
We have an educational tool named the “Peaceful Coexistence” house at the Wildlife Center that simulates several solutions to common ways wildlife gain access to buildings.
The center also has a presentation room that can accommodate large groups (50+) as well as small. Please contact our education coordinator at Presentations@wrande.org to obtain program titles and scheduling information.
Off-site – WR&E provides trained speakers to address civic groups, businesses, schools and other organizations interested in native wildlife. Some of our wildlife ambassadors (permitted non-releasable) accompany the speakers. WR&E programs focus on the rehabilitation process and how we can best share the environment in which we live with these wild creatures that enrich our lives. Currently, the charges are:
$150.00 for a half hour program
$225.00 for a one-hour program
Programs held outside of the 610 Loop will incur an additional $25.00 travel fee.
